Zia CS Services, LLC d/b/a Solscribe ("Solscribe," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Solscribe community solar subscriber platform, our enrollment tools, customer portal, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), and when you visit our websites at solscribe.com and solscribenm.com.

Solscribe is a community solar subscriber management platform operating under New Mexico's Community Solar Act (NMSA 1978, Section 62-16B) and New Mexico Public Regulation Commission ("PRC") Rule 17.9.573.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us directly, information we collect automatically, and information we receive from third parties such as electric utilities and referral partners.

1.1 Information You Provide

When you enroll as a subscriber or interact with our Services, you may provide:

  • Identity and contact information: full legal name, mailing address, service address, phone number, and email address
  • Electric utility account information: utility provider (PNM, El Paso Electric, Xcel/SPS), utility account number, premise number, meter number, and service agreement number
  • Income qualification information: household income, household size, and documentation of participation in qualifying assistance programs (SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, LIHEAP, or other programs) if you apply for income-qualified rates
  • Communications: messages you send to our customer support team, responses to surveys, and feedback

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our website or portal, we may automatically collect device and usage information including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from your electric utility (such as consumption data and account status) and from referral partners who refer you to our Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process your enrollment and manage your community solar subscription
  • Coordinate with your electric utility to establish and maintain bill credits
  • Communicate with you about your account, subscription status, and bill credits
  • Verify income qualification eligibility where applicable
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and PRC requirements
  • Improve our Services and develop new features
  • Send you marketing communications about our Services (you may opt out at any time)

3. SMS/Text Message Communications and TCPA Consent

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during enrollment, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Solscribe regarding your subscription, bill credits, account updates, and program information. Message frequency varies (typically 1–4 per month). Message and data rates may apply.

4. AI-Powered Communications

Solscribe may use AI-assisted tools to help draft communications, respond to common inquiries, and personalize outreach. Any AI-generated communications that involve your personal account information are reviewed for accuracy before being sent. We do not use your personal data to train third-party AI models.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Electric utilities (PNM, El Paso Electric, Xcel Energy) as required to establish and manage your bill credits
  • Affordable Solar Group, LLC and its affiliates for operational purposes
  • Service providers who assist us in operating our platform (such as cloud hosting, SMS messaging, and customer support tools), under confidentiality obligations
  • Regulators including the New Mexico PRC, as required by law
  • Law enforcement or courts when required by applicable law or legal process

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

10. California Residents (CCPA Notice)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and, where required, by sending notice via email or SMS. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
